- 31 May 2026 for international applicants
- 30 June 2026 for local applicants.

A non-refundable, non-transferable application fee of S$50.47 applies.

Application Documents
▼Documents in languages other than English must include certified English translations. Incomplete or inaccurate applications will not be processed.
Please upload all supporting documents to the Graduate Admission System under "Document Upload" in PDF format only.
You may be contacted via email if additional documentation is required for your application.
Applicants must ensure all application information and supporting documents are truthful and accurate. NUS reserves the right to verify any information provided. False or misleading information in applications (including test scores, resumes, certificates, transcripts, etc.) will result in rejection, revocation of admission, and/or dismissal from the University.
Compulsory Documents
- Your resume/CV detailing educational background, internships, work experience, achievements, etc.

- Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents: NRIC (front and back)
- International applicants: Passport (identification page) and Employment Pass (if applicable)
- Certified copies of transcripts/mark sheets and degree certificate
- Your TOEFL/IELTS scores (Required if English is not your native language or medium of university instruction)
- A Statement of Purpose explaining your reasons for applying to this programme
Optional Documents
- Test scores (e.g., GRE)
- Participation and awards in quantitative competitions (e.g., Math Olympiad)
- Certificate of completion in basic programming (e.g., R or Python) and/or basic statistics course (reputable online courses acceptable)
- Reference letters
Application Outcome
▼Applications are processed on a rolling basis, with outcomes released in batches. Candidates may receive offers after the application closing date, and the selection process does not strictly adhere to the order of submission or interview dates.
Acceptance
▼Before accepting:
- Self-supporting students must upload financial documents (bank statement or recent pay slip)
- Sponsored students must upload a confirmation letter from their sponsor with proof of financial status
- Financial proof must certify ability to cover tuition, student fees, and living expenses of S$18,000 per year for the entire MSc programme
- Failure to provide proper documentation will delay processing or disqualify your application
When accepting:
- Pay the non-refundable, non-transferable acceptance fee of SGD 5,450.00 (including 9% GST) through the Graduate admission system
- This fee will be credited toward tuition fees
